About John McGaw
John McGaw is a valuable member of McGaw & Company, Inc. – Residential Interiors Group. “My goal is to meet and exceed my client’s expectations and provide a true luxury experience. John expertise and familiarity with the Palm Beach, Singer Island, Wellington, Palm Beach Gardens, Jupiter adds to his simple belief that providing his client’s with the best possible experience is the only way to conduct business.
Prior to John’s relocating to South Florida in 2004, he used his entrepreneurial drive along with his wife Marilyn when they started their own company in Seattle within the high-end interior design, showroom and construction industries. The company started out small that grew to owning their own furniture manufacturing facility in San Diego specializing in providing furnishings for 4 and 5 star hospitality design firms.
John has held a number of positions including vice president of sales for a national hospitality firm and marketing & business development for a national high-end retail interior and design firm headquartered in Florida. He currently provides project management support and marketing for McGaw & Company, Inc. – Residential Interiors Group.
When not hard at work, John enjoys pursuing his high-energy lifestyle as an endurance bicyclist, his cars and you might find him on one of the many golf courses in Palm Beach County.
About Marilyn McGaw
As owner and design director for award winning McGaw & Company, Inc. – Residential Interiors Group located in Palm Beach, Florida, Marilyn McGaw brings an unusual combination of skills to her career of interior design. An accomplished designer, her clientele includes developers, architects, corporations, professional athletes, and the affluent.
She is experienced in interior design, real estate and construction project management which allows her to understand the importance of good design not only for homeowners but also for realtors and developers.
Her 20 plus years is invaluable to her position as she works with her clientele and trades people. “A beautiful décor makes life more enjoyable for the homeowners, of course, but in model homes, interior design can help buyers understand the potential of a floor plan, and visualize how it will fit with their personal lifestyle,” states McGaw.
“Listening is critical when working on any design project. My goal is to create unique home environments for my clients, personalizing their spaces to reflect their personal style”, McGaw continues.
Previously, McGaw held the position of Design Director with the largest interior design firm in the nation where she supervised more than 25 design professionals and oversaw the design projects they created. She is well suited for her career. While living in Seattle, WA, McGaw established and operated a residential design business and a high-end showroom featuring products like stone fireplace mantels, custom furniture and unique lighting fixtures.
